Reflections on the precarious entry into the professional life of a librarian, particularly in the public libraries sphere; with special reference to working in Vancouver, Canada; offered as personal and private musings by two such new arrivals to the profession, reflecting not the opinions or positions of their employers (of certainty); and presented with all respect towards previous discussion of this subject matter and in hope of encouraging further participation in wider, more honest, and purposeful conversations hereof.
